Biography

Prior to Lewis: Van Den Westhuizen was a part of back-to-back National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national championship teams at Indian River. She won five individual national championships in her two years at Indian River. Last year she won the 200 fly and 1650 free championships. During her freshman year she won the 500, 1,000 and 1,650 free races at the NJCAA meet.

Personal: Daughter of Johanne and Elzerie van der Westhuizen...majoring in Biology.
