Biography

2012 Highlights: Br. David Delahanty Award recipient - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...finished second in the high jump (1.56m) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Jan. 20)...was a runner-up in the high jump (1.50m) at the Big Blue Invite (Apr. 21).

2011 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC honoree...captured the 100-meter hurdles (16.25) title at the Eagle Invitational (Apr. 16)...won the high jump at the Dick Pond Open (Jan. 14) with a team-season best leap of 1.60 meters...holds Lewis’ second-fastest indoor 60-meter hurdles time with a mark of 9.5 and outdoor high jump of 5’ 1/4”.

Prior To Lewis: Competed for Western Illinois in 2009-10...named to the 2010 Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team...earned 2010 Summit League Distinguished Scholar honors for a GPA of 3.60 or higher...owned WIU’s best outdoor high jump (5’1”).

Prep/Personal: Daughter of Doug and Kathy Atkins......major is psychology.
