Vladimir Frenc

Vladimir Frenc joined the Flyers as the women’s volleyball assistant coach in fall 2015. He helped Lewis to a GLVC title and NCAA Tournament berth in his first season.

Most recently he was the head coach for the International School of Belgrade and the Ok Sterija Volleyball Club. He also has experience coaching the North Shore Milwaukee Volleyball Club.

As a player, he has suited up for Cardinal Stritch University, Missouri Valley College, Zeleznicar Volleyball Club-National Adult Serbian League and Partizan Belgrade Volleyball Club.

At Cardinal Stritch he was a two time MVP of the NAIA Esat MAMVIC Conference, he won the NAIA Tournament All American Award and he was also a two time selection for the NAIA East MAMVIC First team all-conference. At Missouri Valley he was Freshman of the Year, selected to the NAIA West MAMVIC First team all-conference, and awarded most kills and most service aces per game during the 2007-2008 season. With the Partizan Belgrade Volleyball Club he was a two time silver medalists in Belgrade Club Championship (2002-2003) and a bronze medalist in Serbia and Montenegro Championship (2003).  

He is pursuing his master’s degree in finance at Lewis University.
