Molly Ryan enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Lewis University softball team.
A native of Manhattan, Ill., Ryan played at Division I Toledo for four seasons where she appeared in 26 games with six starts. The former collegiate first baseman also excelled in the classroom as she was named to the deans list during both the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In her senior year, Ryan also earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete accolades as well and helped Toledo earn a 3.704 team GPA that ranked 13th among all NCAA Division I programs that season.
Ryan also enjoyed a decorated prep career where she was a four-year softball and three-year basketball letterwinner for Lincoln-Way West High School. She was named first-team all-conference and second-team all-state selection by Illinois Coaches Association in 2019 as well.
