The Lewis University women's volleyball team dominated an overmatched Kentucky Wesleyan squad in a 30-12, 30-14, 30-15 victory. Freshman Sarah McKinney paced Lewis (13-6, 5-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference) for the second straight match. McKinney posted 12 kills, including seven in the first game, seven digs, three blocks and a .458 hitting percentage.
Freshman Theresa Nugent had 11 kills and hit .625, while senior Lisa Paasch had 10 kills and eight digs.
Lewis setter Abby Hodge handed out 42 assists and recorded a team-high 13 digs.
Kentucky Wesleyan (2-14, 0-8 in GLVC) remains winless in the conference with the loss. The Flyers held the Panthers to a negative (-.030) hitting percentage for the match.
The Flyers' only match next week is a road trip to local rival Wisconsin-Parkside on October 16.
