ST. LOUIS--For the second straight match, Becca Lisle and Aubrey Dondlinger buried the opposition and helped Lewis to a conference volleyball victory.
Lisle, a sophomore middle hitter, and Dondlinger, a freshman outside hitter, each tallied a match-high 20 kills to help the Lewis University women's volleyball team overcome a game 1 loss and defeat Missouri-St. Louis 26-30, 30-19, 30-19, 30-16.
Lisle hit .348 (20k-4e-46att), while Dondlinger connected at a .350 clip (20k-6e-40att). Lisle added a team-high three blocks and Dondlinger chipped in with eight digs.
Setter Andrea Morrone ran an efficient offense, with Lewis hitting .360. She passed out 55 assists and registered 20 digs.
Defensively, libero Abby Hodge had a match-high 25 digs.
Lewis improves its record to 13-8 overall and 6-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. UMSL falls to 4-17 overall and 4-6 in the league.
