The Lewis University baseball team managed just three hits Saturday and dropped a 7-1 decision at Barry.
A fourth-inning single by Jim Gabriel drove in Victor Naut for the Flyers' only run. Phil Marchinski and Brandon Niewinski also singled for Lewis, which fell to 0-2. Barry improved to 11-5.
Lewis made four errors and stranded 10 baserunners. The Flyers left the bases loaded after scoring in the fourth, and they failed to score after putting the first two hitters on in the sixth.
Freshman right-hander Tommy Rawski went 4 2/3 innings and absorbed the loss. Dave Tolchin hurled a perfect eighth inning for the Flyers.
