CAMBRIDGE, Mass - The Flyers improved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-0 (30-18, 30-25, 32-30) non-conference victory over Harvard University Saturday afternoon in the Crimson Classic.

Drew Pickering led the Flyers with a game highs of 19 kills and six blocks and posted team-best .429 hitting percentage to go along with nine digs, while Nick Perakes registered a game-high 16 digs. David Kelnhofer added nine kills and Craig Boller tallied eight.

The third game proved to be the closest of the afternoon, as the teams battled back-and-forth to the finish. With the score knotted 30-30, Pickering notched his 19th kill for the 31st point followed by a service ace from Jordan Vidovic to seal the 32-30 win.

The Flyers took the first game in convincing fashion, recording a .526 hitting percentage while limiting the Crimson to 18 points. Lewis never trailed in the second game, holding Harvard to a .159 hitting percentage.

Seamus McKiernan set team highs with 14 kills and 11 digs for the Crimson.

The Flyers return to action on January 13 when they travel to face conference foe Quincy.
