KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Rockhurst scored two late goals and defeated Lewis 2-0 Friday in a Great Lakes Valley Conference men's soccer game.

With the loss, Lewis (10-5, 7-5 GLVC) fell to sixth place in the GLVC with one conference game remaining. The Flyers must defeat or tie Drury on Sunday in the GLVC regular-season finale to assure themselves of a spot in the eight-team GLVC Championship tournament that begins Oct. 22.

Rockhurst (9-5-2, 8-3-1 GLVC) scored the only goal it would need when Jacob McMahon (Peter Huhnerkoch assist) found the back of the net at 81:04. Kyle Samuelson (unassisted) added an insurance goal at 85:31.

Goalkeeper Anthony Szymel made three saves for Lewis, while Cory Mastey fired three of the Flyers' six shots.
