FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Drew Pickering (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wauwatosa West)'s 11 kills led the Lewis Flyers in a 16-30, 16-30, 17-30 loss to #12 Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne, Friday night in Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association action at Gates Sports Center.

The Flyers fell to 9-13 (2-6 MIVA), while IPFW improved to 17-5 (8-2 MIVA).

Pickering, who hit .250, also had a team-best seven digs. David Kelnhofer added five kills, while Mykolai Zerebeckyj had four. Nick Perakes chipped in with five digs.

C.J. Macias led IPFW with 11 kills, but Colin Lundeen hit a match-high .833 with five kills on six attempts. Brock Ulrich and Josh Collins each tallied seven kills along with five digs. Mike Morici's added seven digs.

IPFW hit .494 and out-blocked the Flyers 14-4.

The Flyers play again on Saturday night at Ball State at 7 pm.
