FLORENCE, Ky. - Junior right-hander Ryan Duran turned in an outstanding pitching effort Saturday in the Lewis University baseball team's 1-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference loss at Northern Kentucky.

Duran allowed just six hits and a walk while striking out five in his eight-inning stint. Northern Kentucky (15-18, 13-8 GLVC) scored the only run of the game in the sixth inning.

Billy Duffy was 2-for-4 and Bryan Druktenis had a double for the Flyers (4-27, 3-18 GLVC).
