CHICAGO, Ill. - The No. 25 Lewis University Flyers improved to 9-3 with a 25-21, 25-15, 25-22 sweep of Saint Xavier on Wednesday evening.

Junior Stephanie Sagat had a team-high eight kills. Her career total is now 992, meaning she will likely tally her 1,000 kill on Saturday when the Flyers play Kentucky Wesleyan and Kentucky State.

Sophomores Danielle Mount and Lauren Seliga along with junior Kim Richards each added six kills.

Defensively Mount tallied three blocks (one solo) and Richards had two solos. Seliga had a team-high 13 digs. Senior Lauren Hatter added nine digs.

Saint Xavier falls to 5-13.
