OAKLAND, Mich. - Two goals off the bench from sophomore Armin Vrebac helped lift the No. 11 Flyers to a 7-0 non-conference victory over Oakland City on Wednesday afternoon.

Junior Nestor Hernandez scored his second goal of the season to open up the scoring. He found the back of the net from 10 yards out off a cross from junior Mark Switalski at 8:41. About 13 minutes later sophomore Mardhoche Beya from 15 yards out. Junior Joey De Francesco assisted on the goal, and assisted on the next when senior Cory Mastey made it 3-0 before halftime.

After halftime Jose Ibarra quickly made it 4-0 from five yards out off a short pass from Mark Switalski. Charlie Bucio made it 5-0 with an unassisted goal at 60:37. Then Vrebac got into the act, scoring at 84:02, assisted by sophomore Jose Ibarra, and at 87:09, assisted by junior Tim Vance.

Senior Anthony Szymel stopped all four shots he faced.

The Flyers host Mercyhurst on Saturday at noon.
