St. Petersburg, Fla. - It was no fun in the sun for the Lewis University men's tennis team, as the Flyers dropped an 8-1 non-conference decision at the hands of Eckerd College for their `Spring Break' trip in Florida on Monday afternoon.
The Flyers picked up their lone victory at No. 1 doubles as freshman Uno Lapimaa (Tallin, Estonia/Tallina Audentese Erakooli) and sophomore Tonis Irdoja (Tallinn, Estonia/Rocca Al Mare) claimed the 8-6 win over Eckerd's Ben Maxwell and Hisa Sato.
Lewis is back in action on Tuesday, as the Flyers square off with Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. First serve is set for 10 a.m. (EST).
