ALL TIME SERIES - Lewis holds a 4-3 advantage over Hillsdale in their all-time series.

LAST TIME WE MET - Hillsdale junior Brent Eaton (25 points) connected for his fifth three-pointer with 13 seconds left to break a 77-tie and give the host Chargers the 80-77 win over Lewis at the Jesse Phillips Arena on November 27, 2010. Lewis senior guard Dennis Thomas and junior center Marty Strus (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg) (8 rebounds) led the Flyers with 16 points apiece.

LAST TIME OUT - Lewis senior forward Matt Toth (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) led six Flyers in double-figures with a game-high 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including three trifectas in a 94-52 win over Trinity International on Tuesday (Nov. 22) night.

TREY BIEN - Lewis connected on 13 three-pointers against Trinity International, which was the most by a Flyer squad since they hit 13 in a 101-82 win over UW-Parkside on January 17, 2009. That game also marked the last time Lewis had six players in double-figures.

QUICK START - With a win over Hillsdale, it would be the Flyers' first 4-0 start since the 1999-2000 campaign.

LESS IS MORE - Since the 2009-10 campaign, Lewis is 12-3 (.800) when taking less than 50 shots-per-game. Since Scott Trost's arrival in 2006, Lewis is 18-10 (.643) when they take less than 50 shots.

OH, YOU AGAIN... -  As the head coach of Illinois Wesleyan, Trost's squad rallied from a 13-point, second-half deficit to defeat Hillsdale head coach John Tharp's previously undefeated Lawrence squad, 71-68, in a NCAA Division III regional semifinal on March 11, 2006.

NOT MY BROTHER - Lewis senior forward Justin Jarosz (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport) and freshman guard Jeff Jarosz (Lyons, Ill./Morton) are not related.

CLOSE CALLS -  During Trost's career at Lewis, the Flyers are 25-22 (.532) in games decided by five points or less, which accounts for 31.3% of the 150 games he has coached in.

DOUBLE-FIGURES - In just three games, Lewis has had seven different players score in double-figures.

1,000-POINT CLUB - Senior guard Chris McClellan (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Wheeling) needs 41 more points to reach 1,000 points for his career.

BENCH MOB - Lewis' bench, led by Justin Jarosz (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport) (10.0 ppg.), is averaging 35.7 points-per-game in the Flyers' first three contests.

DEEP ROTATION - With a deep roster, Trost has been able to use 40 different player combinations in just three games. Lewis has eight players who are averaging at least 16.3 minutes-per-game this season.

POUNDING THE GLASS - Lewis has registered three consecutive games with at least 40+ rebounds. The last time Lewis a Flyer squad accomplished that feat came during the 2003-04 campaign when they did it in four straight games from Dec. 1, 2003 to Dec. 15, 2003.

HONORING HIS BROTHER - Junior guard David Bryant (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) wears the number 12 in honor of his late brother Kevin who played for Trost at Illinois Wesleyan from 2004-06.
