Men's and Women's Basketball Both Have Multiple CSC Academic All-District Honorees

Greenwood, Ind. - The Lewis University men's and women's basketball programs each had multiple members of their respective teams earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.

On the women's side, All-GLVC honorees Yahaira Bueno (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) and Ally Cesarini (La Grange, Ill./Lyons Township) each earned the honor. Bueno earned All-GLVC Second Team accolades while Cesarini was named the GLVC Defensive Player of the Year and landed on the second team alongside Bueno. For the men, Ryan Hall (Kettering, Ohio/Kettering Fairmont), Billy Durkin (Hinsdale, Ill./Wheaton) and Cale Cosme (Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice) each collected the honor.

Within the GLVC, 27 men's basketball players earned the accolade while 39 student-athletes earned the prestigious award. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced later this year.
