Leigh Barea (Battle Creek, Mich., Harper Creek) added a double-double of 38 assists and 12 digs.
“Hannah and Danielle came out hitting 1.000 from the start and when you have seniors that can do that it sets the tone for everybody,” head coach
Lorelee Smith said. “You also have to give credit to the sets they received from Leigh. They kept getting balls they could get big kills on."
Crawford provided three of Lewis' four aces in the contest.
“Katie did a nice job going in and scoring points,” Smith said. “She communicated well and played two different defenses.”
Lewis improves to 22-5 (14-3 GLVC) while the Pumas drop to 10-17 (3-14 GLVC).
The Flyers return to action on Saturday at 3 p.m. for a match against No. 21 Indianapolis which will be aired live on Lakeshore Public Television in a battle for first place in the GLVC East Division.
