Romeoville, Ill. – The Lewis University Athletics Department unveiled a new and improved www.LewisFlyers.com on Thursday (March 31) afternoon, as the redesigned site will feature video, social media and more user-friendly content for Flyer fans across the nation.
Lewis has enlisted Sidearm Sports as its service provider after having the same site and design for the past seven years.
“We are very excited about the launch of our newly re-designed web site by Sidearm Sports,” Lewis Associate Director of Athletics Brian Summers said. “Our previous version served us well for seven years, but we're pleased to bring our site into the 21st century.
“We think our friends, fans, alumni and Lewis community will enjoy the rich array of features this new site has to offer.”
Fans will immediately be able to take full advantage of the new site, as Lewis will video stream select home contests for free, where as in years past, it was for a price. Smart phone users will be able to access the mobile site for LewisFlyers.com while Flyer fans can check out all the latest information on social media sites, such as twitter (@lewisflyers) and facebook (Lewis University Flyers Athletics).
“Sidearm Sports has become a significant player in the college athletics web site market, and we're pleased to partner with their services,” Summers said. “Their support and design staff catered to our needs and helped us build the exact web site we desired.
