With the loss, the Flyers drop to 9-3 (2-1 GLVC) while the Screaming Eagles improve to 11-5 (4-1 GLVC).

Lewis redshirt junior Uno Lapimaa (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese) defeated Diego Gimenez, 7-6, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and sophomore Jesse Hardacre (Racine, Wis./St. Catherine's) won by default at No. 4 singles over Ben Boesing due to an injury.

“We were not able to get the job done in doubles and that really put us in a deep hole,” Lewis head men's tennis coach Brett Bridel said. “USI outplayed us and deserved the victory.”
