Rensselaer, Ind.
- Less than 40 seconds after Lewis forward George Thomson (Kilmarnock, Scotland/Reid Kerr College) (Kilmarnock, Scotland/Reid Kerr College) posted the equalizer in the 75th minute, Saint Joseph's forward Zach Deak snuck the game-winning goal past Flyer goalkeeper Alec Pickett (Mokena, Ill./Providence ) (Mokena, Ill./Providence) at the 75:06 mark to help the Pumas to the 2-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory at Joseph L. Minielli Memorial Field on Sunday (Sept. 11) afternoon.

"(Saint Joseph's) just wanted it more than we did," Lewis head men's soccer coach Evan Fiffles said. "They showed more passion and more heart, and we thought we could just show up and win the game."

With the win, Saint Joseph's improves to 1-3 on the season and 1-1 in GLVC action, while the Flyer fall to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

Lewis put a late rush in the last 20 seconds of regulation, but Gentil made a save with five seconds left to secure the victory for the Pumas.

After a scoreless first half, Saint Joseph's Cole Galloway put the Pumas on the board at the 59:45 mark, to give the Pumas the 1-0 advantage.
