Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University men's basketball team looks to extend its winning streak to three games, as the Flyers (10-4, 2-4 GLVC) welcome UW-Parkside (8-6, 1-5) GLVC to Neil Carey Arena for a 7:45 p.m. (CST) tip-off on Monday (Jan. 16) night.

ALL TIME SERIES - Since Lewis entered the Division II ranks, the Flyers hold a 32-24 advantage over UW-Parkside in their all-time series.
LAST TIME WE MET - Lewis held UW-Parkside to a 30.0% (15-for-50) shooting performance to pick up the 69-45 victory and a share of the GLVC North Division title on February 12, 2011. Lewis senior #Dennis Thomas, Jr.# led all scorers with 15 points.

Chris McClellan (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Wheeling) scored 10 of his 19 points in overtime to help the host Flyers to the 89-85 come-from-behind double-overtime win over UIS on Saturday (Jan. 14) evening.
DOUBLE THE FUN - Saturday's win over UIS marked the first time that Lewis went to double overtime since a 113-109 triple-overtime loss to Indianapolis on February 21, 2008.
FRESH FROSH - Ryan Jackson (Bolingbrook, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) and
Julian Lewis (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) are the first pair of freshmen that
Scott Trost has ever started in his 15 years as a head coach.
AMONG THE BIG BOYS - Jackson is averaging 12.4 points per game, which is the most by any freshman in the GLVC. That is the highest scoring average by a Flyer freshman since Lewis Hall of Famer Larry Tucker poured in14.9 points-per-game in 1979-80.
FROM WAY DOWNTOWN - Lewis is 22-7 (.759) since 2006-07 when they knock down at least 50.0% of their three-point attempts (min. 5 made).
GET SOME REST - McClellan played 48 out of a possible 50 minutes against UIS on Saturday.

David Bryant (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) wears the number 12 in honor of his late brother Kevin who played for Trost at Illinois Wesleyan from 2004-06.

Lonnie Lawrence (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington) is sporting a new look, as the Bloomington, Ill., native has cut his trademark braids. Since the trim, Lawrence is averaging 8.2 points and 6.4 rebounds-per-game in five contests.
IN IT UNTIL THE END - The score was either tied or Lewis held a lead with under one minute left in three of the Flyers' four losses this season.
PLAYING CLEAN - As of January 12th, Lewis is ranked fourth in the nation, averaging 14.0 fouls-per-game. The Flyers have made more free throws (178) than their opponents have attempted (175).
DEFENSIVE CLAMPS - Lewis has held eight opponents this season to under 60 points, which is the most by a Flyer squad since the 2007-08 season when they did it eight times.
