Live stats and audio streaming, provided by Maryville, can be found at www.LewisFlyers.com.

ALL TIME SERIES - Since entering the Division II ranks, Lewis owns a 2-0 advantage over the Saints in their all-time series.

LAST TIME WE MET - Lewis' backcourt tandem of #Dennis Thomas, Jr.# (21 points) and Chris McClellan (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Wheeling) (19 points) combined for 40 points as the visiting Flyers earned the 60-45 GLVC win over Maryville on December 2, 2010.

LAST TIME OUT - Lewis held Wayne State to a 28.1% (16-for-57) shooting performance from the floor on their way to the 52-41 in-region win over the Warriors at Neil Carey Arena on Saturday (Dec. 31) afternoon. Lewis freshman forward Julian Lewis (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) topped the Flyers with 14 points and added seven rebounds in the win.

FROM WAY DOWNTOWN - Lewis is 22-7 (.759) since 2006-07 when they knock down at least 50.0% of their three-point attempts (min. 5 made).

WELCOME ROOKIE - Lewis freshman guard Ryan Jackson (Bolingbrook, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) is currently averaging 11.66 points-per-game. That is the highest scoring average by a freshman since Austin Real (Aurora, Ill./Aurora West) poured in 11.74 points-per-game during the 2000-01 campaign.

CAN WE SHOOT IT? YES WE CAN - Lewis is shooting 40.2% from three-point range this season, while their opponents are connecting on just 37.3% of their total field goal attempts.

FROM WAY DOWNTOWN - McClellan is currently third in school-history for single-season three-point field goal percentage, as the senior guard is knocking down 53.2% (25-for-47) of his attempts. Charles Owens set the current standard of 55.4% (82-for-148) in 1993-94.

DEFENSIVE CLAMPS - Saturday's 52-41 win over Wayne State marked the fewest points scored by a Flyer opponent since a 68-39 win over St. Francis (Ill.) on November 28, 2009.

DEFENSIVE CLAMPS (PART DEUX) - Lewis has held seven opponents this season to under 60 points. The Flyers accomplished that same feat for the entire 2010-11 campaign.

DEFENSIVE CLAMPS (PART TROIS) - Lewis leads the GLVC in scoring defense (55.5 ppg) and field goal percentage defense (37.3%).

NOT MY BROTHER - Senior forward Justin Jarosz (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport) and freshman guard Jeff Jarosz (Lyons, Ill./Morton) are not related.

RUNNING THE TABLE - Saturday's win over Wayne State clinched a perfect 8-0 non-conference record for Lewis. The last time the Flyers ran the non-conference table came during the 2002-03 season, when they went 9-0.

LESS IS MORE - Since the 2009-10 campaign, Lewis is 13-4 (.765) when taking less than 50 shots-per-game. Since Scott Trost's arrival in 2006, Lewis is 19-11 (.633) when they take less than 50 shots.

HONORING HIS BROTHER - Junior guard David Bryant (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) wears the number 12 in honor of his late brother Kevin who played for Trost at Illinois Wesleyan from 2004-06.

CLOSE CALLS - During Trost's career at Lewis, the Flyers are 25-24 (.510) in games decided by five points or less, which accounts for 31.6% of the 155 games he has coached in.

FRESH FROSH - Jackson and Lewis are the first pair of freshmen that Trost has ever started in his 15 years as a head coach.

POUNDING THE GLASS - Lewis is 14-3 (.824) when senior forward Matt Toth (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) leads the team in rebounding during his career.

STREAK STOPPERS - A win over Maryville would help Lewis avoid opening the season with three-straight conference losses, which hasn't happened since the 2004-05 campaign.

CONTINUE THE STREAK - A win over Maryville would give Lewis its first five-game winning streak since the 2009-10 campaign. That streak, coincidentally, started with an 86-59 win over the Saints on December 5, 2009.
