ALL TIME SERIES - Since Lewis entered the Division II ranks, the Flyers hold a 30-8 lead over the Fighting Saints in their all-time series.

LAST TIME WE MET - Lewis shot 81.8% (18-for-22) from the floor in the second half on their way to the 83-71 non-conference win over the visiting Fighting Saints on Dec. 8, 2012. Sophomore guard Ryan Jackson (Bolingbrook, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) scored a then, career-high 27 points for the Flyers.

LAST TIME OUT - Lewis used a 20-1 second-half run to cruise to the 78-57 regional win against Wayne State on Saturday (Nov. 30). Jackson topped the Flyers with 16 points.

MARK OF EFFICIENCY - Lewis shot a GLVC and season-best 63.9% (23-for-36) from the floor in the 78-68 win over Northern Michigan on November 24th. It was the best shooting performance by a Flyer squad since a 67.2% (41-for-61) outing in a 101-82 win over UW-Parkside on January 17, 2009. It was also the fewest shots by a Flyer squad in the Scott Trost era.

WE'RE GOING STREAKING - Lewis has an nine-game winning streak against non-conference opponents, dating back to a 79-70 win over Cedarville on November 30, 2012.

WE'RE GOING STREAKING (PART DEUX) - A win against St. Francis (Ill.) would be the best start by a Flyer squad since Lewis went 5-0 to begin the 1996-97 campaign.

WE'RE GOING STREAKING (PART TROIX) - Lewis has a four-game road winning streak, dating back to a 63-59 victory over No. 10 Southern Indiana on Feb. 7, 2013.

PRESEASON ACCOLADES - Jackson has been selected to both the Sporting News and Division II Bulletin Preseason Honorable Mention All-America Men's Basketball Teams.

TRIPLE THREAT - Jackson led the Flyers in points (22), rebounds (8) and assists (5) against Ferris State on November 20th. That is the fourth time in his career that he has accomplished that feat.

TAKING CARE OF THE ROCK - Lewis point guard Jeff Jarosz (Lyons, Ill./Morton) has a 7-to-1 assist to turnover ratio as he has 14 assists and two turnovers in four games.

1,000 CLUB - Jackson needs 82 points to become the 38th player in Lewis history to reach the 1,000-Point Club.

SECOND-HALF ADJUSTMENTS - Lewis is outscoring its opponents by an average of 42-31 in the second half this season. In contrast, the Flyers are only outscoring their opponents by an average of 36.2 to 34.2 in the opening 20 minutes.

ON THE RADAR - Lewis is received one vote in the most recent NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll released on Tuesday, November 26th. The Flyers have not been nationally-ranked since they were 17th in the final poll of the 2003-04 campaign.

WIRE TO WIRE - Lewis has led from start to finish in each of their last two victories.

GETTING TO THE LINE - Lewis leads the GLVC in free throw shooting (80.6%) as of December 2nd. If the Flyers continue at this pace, it would shatter the previous single-season, school-record of 77.3% (487-for-630) set in 1995-96.
