Romeoville, Ill. -
The Lewis University men's basketball team rounds out its non-conference road slate on Saturday (Dec. 21), as the Flyers (6-0) head to Canton, Ohio to square off with Malone (4-3). Tip-off is slated for 1 PM ET at Osborne Hall.

Live stats of Saturday's contest - provided by Malone - can be found at www.LewisFlyers.com.

ALL TIME SERIES - This is the first time that these two teams have met.

LAST TIME OUT - Lewis University junior guard Ryan Jackson (Bolingbrook, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) drained a three-pointer with 19 seconds left in overtime, as the visiting Flyers remained perfect on the season with the 83-81 (OT) regional victory over Cedarville on December 7th.

WE'RE GOING STREAKING - Lewis has a 11-game winning streak against non-conference opponents, dating back to a 79-70 win over Cedarville on November 30, 2012.

WE'RE GOING STREAKING (PART DEUX) - The Flyers are off to their best start to a season since Lewis went 13-0 to begin the 1988-89 campaign.

WE'RE GOING STREAKING (PART TROIX) - Lewis has a six-game road winning streak, dating back to a 63-59 victory over No. 10 Southern Indiana on Feb. 7, 2013.

WE'RE GOING STREAKING (PART QUATRE) - With their win over Cedarville on December 7th, the Flyers have their first six-game winning streak since the 2003-04 campaign. That season, Lewis went 15 games without a loss.

PRESEASON ACCOLADES - Jackson has been selected to both the Sporting News and Division II Bulletin Preseason Honorable Mention All-America Men's Basketball Teams.

TRIPLE THREAT - Jackson led the Flyers in points (22), rebounds (8) and assists (5) against Ferris State on November 20th. That is the fourth time in his career that he has accomplished that feat.

TAKING CARE OF THE ROCK - Lewis' point guard tandem of Jeff Jarosz (Lyons, Ill./Morton) and Gabe Williams (Chicago, Ill./Farragut) have a combined 29 assists and 10 turnovers in six games this season for a 4.8-to-1 assist to turnover ratio.

TAKING CARE OF THE ROCK (PART DEUX) - As of December 15th, Lewis is fifth in the country, committing just 10 turnovers-per-game. The Flyers have had three games this season with less than 10 turnovers.

TAKING CARE OF THE ROCK (PART TROIS) - Jarosz (22 assists, 5 turnovers) has a GLVC-best assist/turnover ratio of 4.4-to-1, as of December 15th. That mark is also the eighth best in the country.

1,000 CLUB - Jackson needs 45 points to become the 38th player in Lewis history to reach the 1,000-Point Club.

ON THE RADAR - Lewis received 18 votes in the most recent NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll released on Tuesday, December 17th. The Flyers have not been nationally-ranked since they were 17th in the final poll of the 2003-04 campaign.

GETTING TO THE LINE - Lewis leads the GLVC and is eighth in the country in free throw shooting (79.1%) as of December 15th. If the Flyers continue at this pace, it would shatter the previous single-season, school-record of 77.3% (487-for-630) set in 1995-96.

SMOKIN' HOT - Lewis has won 14 of its last 16 contests dating back to the 2012-13 campaign. During that stretch, the Flyers have defeated three teams that were ranked in the NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE - Junior forward Julian Lewis (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) has recorded two straight double-doubles. The last Flyer to achieve that feat in three contests was Stephan Bolt, who did it four straight times to end the 2007-08 season.

MODEL OF EFFICIENCY - Lewis took a conference-low 36 shots against Northern Michigan (Nov. 24) and still came away with the 78-68 win. The Flyers shot 63.9% (23-for-36) from the field and 71.1% (27-for-38) from the free throw line.
