Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University women's basketball (16-5, 9-4 GLVC) team's seven-game home winning streak will be on the line when the Flyers host Bellarmine (17-7, 7-6 GLVC) on Thursday (Feb. 14) at Neil Carey Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM.

LAST TIME WE MET - The Flyers fell to the Knights on Jan. 19, 74-70. Rinehart paced the Flyers with 19 points and five rebounds while sophomore guard
Nikki Nellen (New Berlin, Wis./Pius XI) 13 points. Sophomore forward
Jess Reinhart (Normal, Ill./Bloomington Central Catholic) chipped in 13 points and nine rebounds.
SAME STARTIN' FIVE - The Flyers can boast that their starting five has remained the same throughout the season.
LEWIS RECEIVES VOTES USA TODAY DII POLL - The Flyers received 21 votes in the Feb. 11 edition of the USA TODAY Sports Division II Basketball Coaches Poll. Last week, Lewis jumped into the poll at No. 24, (Feb. 5), after three straight weeks of receiving votes. The last time Lewis was nationally ranked was in the 2006-07 season.
NATIONAL RANKINGS - Lewis is third in three-point field goal defense, holding teams to 23.3% from beyond the arc, according the NCAA Statistical Rankings released on Mon. (Feb. 11).
TURNIN' IT AROUND - As of Feb. 11, Lewis and Georgia College (Milledgeville, Ga.) have had the second best turn-around in Division II women's basketball from last season. Both teams have doubled their win total this year with 16.
ALL-TIMER - Murdock has moved into to a 6th-place in school history with 88 career blocks. Jackie Wayne (1987-91) is No. 5 all time with 97 career blocks. Murdock's team-leading 26 blocks is fifth in the GLVC.
NUMBERS VS. THE GLVC - The Flyers top the GLVC in three-point field-goal percentage (35.4%), scoring (72.6) and three-point field-goal defense (23.4%) and second in defensive rebounds (29.9 per-game average).
SOPHOMORE TOUCH - Reinhart is the first sophomore since the 2008-09 to lead the Flyers in scoring (14.2) and rebounds (7.1). In the 2008-09 season Jenny Turpel led the Flyers with 18.5 points and 6.9 rebounds-per-game.
PLAY 4KAY - The Flyers will be selling pink t-shirts for $10 during Thursday's game. Lewis will play a second Play 4Kay pink game when they host McKendree (Feb. 16). The game will benefit the Kay Yow Foundation with the common goal of promoting breast cancer awareness and finding a cure.
HOME SWEET HOME - The Flyers' seven-game home win-streak, including a perfect 5-0 against GLVC teams, is the longest since the 2009-10 campaign where the squad dropped two games at Neil Carey Arena before going 11-0 to close out the season.
GRAYER FROM BEYOND THE ARC - Junior guard
Alexus Grayer (Washington, Ill./Washington) has tallied the 9th best single-season three-point field-goal percentage, shooting .423 (41-97). She also sits fourth all-time with a .389 three-point field-goal percentage (81-208). Amy Frey (97-99) is third with a .401 career three-point field-goal average (61-152).
SENIORS VS. BU - In five career games against BU, Rinehart is averaging 11 points and 4.8 rebounds while Murdock has put up 6.2 points and 2.2 rebounds-per-contest.
STACKING UP AGAINST THE GLVC - Nellen is second in the GLVC with 4.8 assists per game.
