Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University men's basketball team kicks off a three-game road swing through the GLIAC, as the Flyers (2-0) square off with Saginaw Valley State (1-1) at James E. O'Neill Arena on Thursday (Nov. 20) night. Tip-off is set for 7 PM ET.

LAST TIME OUT - Lewis, paced by 20 points and 10 rebounds from freshman guard
Max Strus (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg), led from start to finish as the Flyers earned the 91-62 regional victory over Malone at Neil Carey Arena on Saturday (Nov. 15) afternoon.
NATIONALLY RANKED - Lewis is ranked in the following preseason Top 25 Polls including Division II Bulletin (No. 11), NABC (No. 17) and Basketball Times (No. 17). The next poll will be released on November 25th.
PROUD PROGRAM - Lewis is one of seven Division II schools in the country that has both their men's and women's basketball programs ranked in the Top 25. The Flyer women's team checked in at No. 9 in the USA TODAY Sports Division II Coaches Poll released on Tuesday (November 4).
DOUBLE-DOUBLE - Lewis senior forward
Julian Lewis (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) recorded eight of Lewis' 11 double-doubles in 2013-14.
TRIPLE THREAT - Senior guard
Ryan Jackson (Bolingbrook, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) has led the Flyers in points, rebounds and assists in a single game, five times during his career.
THE LAST TIME - Strus is the first Flyer freshman to score at least 20 points in a game since Jackson did it as a rookie in 2011-12.
THE LAST TIME (PART DEUX) - Lewis has not recorded back-to-back 90+ point games since the 2009-10 campaign against Purdue Calumet (W, 90-71; 12-22-09) and Trinity Christian (W, 95-73; 12-29-09).
GETTING TO THE LINE - Lewis is 9-0 over the past two seasons when Jackson gets to the free throw line at least 10 times.
SMOKIN' HOT - Lewis has won 31 of its last 39 contests dating back to the 2012-13 campaign for a winning percentage of .795. During that stretch, the Flyers have defeated five teams that were ranked in the NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll. The Flyers have won 42 games since the start of the 2012-13 campaign.
CRASHING THE GLASS - Lewis' 46 rebounds against Malone was the most by a Flyer squad since they grabbed 46 caroms in a 69-49 win over Saint Joseph's on February 2, 2013. The Flyers have not collected back-to-back, 40-rebound games since the 2012-13 campaign against William Jewell (40) and Rockhurst (44).
