Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University men's basketball team shot 34.6% (18-for-52) from the field and tied a season-high with 20 turnovers as Drury University claimed the 71-54 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over the host Flyers at Neil Carey Arena on Thursday (Jan. 7) night.
Drury senior guard Kameron Bundy led all scorers with 20 points, while sophomore guard Tevin Foster and junior forward Joshua Palmer each contributed 14 points apiece for the Panthers. Bundy (4 treys) and Foster (3 treys) combined for seven of Drury's 10 three-pointers on the evening.
With the victory, Drury improves to 8-4 overall and 3-1 in GLVC play while the host Flyers fall to 9-4 on the campaign and 1-2 in conference action.

Delaney Blaylock (Wyoming, Mich./Godwin Heights) led the Flyer attack with 17 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists in the loss. Junior guard
Capel Henshaw (Harrisburg, Ill./Harrisburg) knocked down a pair of three-pointers and finished with 10 points.
As a team, Lewis shot 34.6% (18-for-52) from the field and 22.7% (5-for-22) from three-point range. Drury shot 53.6% (15-28) in the first half on their way to a 17-point halftime lead and finished the contest shooting 43.3% (26-for-60) from the field.
Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Jan. 9) as they welcome Missouri S&T for a 3 PM tip-off.
