Box Score Indianapolis, Ind. - The No.14 Lewis women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to eight after beating the University of Indianapolis in three games (25-18, 25-19, 25-8).

Following the win, Lewis improves to 12-3 and 6-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

The Flyers picked up the win thanks to great all-around team play.

Junior Aly Schneider (Granger, Ind./Penn) and redshirt junior Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall) combined for 20 kills for the match accounting for half of the team's kills. Lewis redshirt libero Nicole Yuede (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell North) led the match in digs with nine, while Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) had 33 assist. On the defensive end Caroline Stefanon (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) had 4 blocks out of the Flyers 7.
  
 As a team, Lewis hit .286 (40-12-98).

The next match for the Flyers will be on Tuesday (October 4) at 7 PM at home in Neil Carey Arena
