Indianapolis, Ind. - The University of Indianapolis scored in each half, as the Greyhounds earned the 2-0 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over the Lewis University women's soccer team at Key Stadium on Sunday (Oct. 23) afternoon.
The Greyhounds received goals from both Stephanie Burdsall (22') and Elizabeth Behrends (56') in the victory.
With the win, UIndy improves to 7-9 overall and 6-8 in GLVC action, while the visiting Flyers drop to 8-8-1 on the campaign and 6-7-1 in conference play.
UIndy outshot the Flyers, 13-12, and held an 8-6 advantage in shots on goal.
Lewis concludes the regular season on Wednesday (Oct. 26), as the Flyers battle UW-Parkside at 2:30 PM in Kenosha.
