Romeoville, Ill. - Lewis University junior forward 
Nick Norton (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) scored 15 of his team-best 18 points in the second half to help the Flyer men's basketball team rally from a nine-point deficit in the final 13 minutes and defeat Northern Michigan, 87-83, at Neil Carey Arena on Sunday (Nov. 13).
Norton was one of four Flyers in double figures, joining senior guard 
Miles Simelton (Oswego, Ill./Oswego), sophomore swingman 
Delaney Blaylock (Wyoming, Mich./Godwin Heights) and junior forward 
Cristen Wilson (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay).
Simelton had four three-pointers and finished with 17 points, while Blaylock had 14 points and a team-best eight rebounds. Wilson picked up 12 points and seven rebounds (6 offensive).
With the win, Lewis improves to 1-1 on the campaign, while the Wildcats fall to 1-1 on the season.
As a team, Lewis shot 45.7% (32-for-70) from the field and 31.8% (7-for-22), while Northern Michigan connected on 41.8% (28-for-67) of its attempts and 43.2% (16-for-37) from long range.
Lewis returns to action on Thursday (Nov. 17), as the Flyers head to Michigan for a 7 PM ET regional showdown with Saginaw Valley State.
