Elkins, WV - The No. 20 Lewis University women's basketball team set a single-game, school-record with 29 assists, as the Flyers passed their way to the 91-47 regional victory over Davis & Elkins at the McDonnell Center on Saturday (Nov. 19) afternoon.
The previous record of 28 was set in a 96-57 win over Rockhurst on February 5, 2015. Lewis sophomore guard
Tierney Lockett (Richton Park, Ill./Rich South) dished out a game-high six assists for the Flyers.
With the win, Lewis improves to 4-1 on the season, while the host Senators drop to 3-1 on the campaign.

Jamie Johnson (South Holland, Ill./Marian Catholic) led five Flyers with double-figures with 12 points.
Sophomore forward
Jessica Kelliher (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha North) and redshirt junior guard
Tiana Karopulos (Tinley Park, Ill./Andrew) each scored 11 points, while senior guard
Alyssa Siwek (Palos Heights, Ill./Mother McAuley) and redshirt sophomore guard
Kayla Brewer (Milwaukee, Wis./Milwaukee School of Languages) each pitched in 10 points in the victory.
Lewis hit 56.3% (36-for-64) of its shots, including 10 three-pointers, while Davis & Elkins was held to a 27.1% (16-for-59) shooting performance. All 13 Lewis players scored, as the Flyer bench outscored the Senators, 39-19.
Lewis returns to action on Tuesday (Nov. 22), as the Flyers welcome Northwood to Neil Carey Arena for a 5:30 PM tip-off.
