Champaign, Ill. - The University of Illinois men's basketball team led from start to finish, as the host Fighting Illini captured the 95-51 victory over Lewis University in the Flyers' lone exhibition tune-up at the State Farm Center on Friday (Nov. 4) evening.

Delaney Blaylock (Wyoming, Mich./Godwin Heights) topped the Flyers with 12 points, while senior guard
Miles Simelton (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) and sophomore center
Frank Vukaj (Davison, Mich./Davison) each scored 10 in the loss.
The Flyers were unable to overcome a 31.3% (21-for-67) shooting performance and were out-rebounded by Illinois, 47-25.
Lewis opens the 2016-17 campaign on November 12th, as the Flyers host Michigan Tech in a GLIAC/GLVC Challenge showdown. Tip-off is set for 8 PM at Neil Carey Arena.
