Lewis Women's Swimming Wins Two At Friday Night UIndy Quad

Flyers beat McKendree and Bellarmine, but fall to host Greyhounds.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Lewis University women's swimming team went 2-1 at the Friday Night UIndy Quad, hosted by the University of Indianapolis on Friday (Nov. 4) evening.

The Flyers - behind a first-place finish from redshirt junior Shannon Sullivan (Elmhurst, Ill./York ) - beat McKendree (124-49) and Bellarmine (117.50-66.5). UIndy handed Lewis (128-55) its lone loss. with a (128-55).

Sullivan won the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.22). She also a member of the first-place winning 400-yard freestyle relay (3:38.89) with seniors Brittany Kamper (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg), Courtney Duy (Buckeye, Ariz./Millennium) and Kaitlyn Yearout (Ocala, Fla. /Trinity Catholic).


Flyer senior Sarah Cameron (Brownstone, Mich./Carlson) picked up a second place performance in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:33.41).

All four teams will face off again on Saturday (Nov. 5) morning. The action kicks off at 10:30 a.m. ET.
