Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 18 Lewis University women's volleyball team clinched its 11th straight, 20+ win season with the 25-22, 25-13, 25-22 Great Lakes Valley Conference sweep over Truman State on Friday (Nov. 4) at Neil Carey Arena.

Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) led the charge for the Flyers with a double-double of 10 kills and 13 digs, while redshirt junior right side
Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall) narrowly missed a double-double with nine kills and 12 digs.
With the victory, Lewis improves to 20-6 overall and 13-1 in GLVC action, while the visiting Bulldogs drop to 12-15 on the campaign and 9-5 in conference play.

Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) enjoyed a solid evening with a match-high 37 assists along with seven digs and four kills. Flyer redshirt senior libero
Nicole Yuede (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell North) was dominant defensively with a match-high 25 digs in three sets.
As a team, Lewis had a hitting percentage of .286 (46 kills, 12 errors, 119 attacks), while Truman State hit .133 (34-17-128).
Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Nov. 5), as the Flyers welcome Quincy to Neil Carey Arena for a 3 PM first serve.
