Kenosha, Wis. - After dropping the first set, the No. 15 Lewis University women's volleyball time reeled off three straight wins en route to the 22-25, 26-24, 27-25, 25-20 Great Lakes Valley Conference win over UW-Parkside at DeSimone Gymnasium on Tuesday (Nov. 8) night.
The Flyer trio of junior middle hitter
Aly Schneider (Granger, Ind./Penn), sophomore outside hitter
Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) and redshirt junior right side
Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall) combined for 50 kills in the Lewis victory. Schneider racked up 21 kills with an impressive hitting percentage of .556 (21 kills, 1 error, 36 attacks), while Hyland (16 kills, 10 digs) and Seliga (13 kills, 16 digs) each recorded double-doubles.
With the victory, Lewis extends its winning streak to six matches and improves to 22-6 overall and 15-1 in GLVC action, while the host Rangers are now 12-17 on the campaign and 8-8 in conference play.

Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) also claimed a double-double with a match-high 49 assists and 13 digs, while redshirt senior libero
Nicole Yuede (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell North) had a team-best 17 digs.
Lewis returns to action on Friday (Nov. 11), as the Flyers welcome the University of Indianapolis to Neil Carey Arena for a 7 PM first serve.
