Romeoville, Ill. - Six different players scored in double-figures as the Lewis University men's basketball team won its fifth-straight game with the 111-61 victory over Salem International in the final day of QU Subway Holiday Classic - hosted by Quincy - at the Pepsi Arena on Sunday (Dec. 18).
The 111 points is the most by a Flyer squad in a single game since 2001 and the most in a regulation contest since 1997. Lewis' 62 points in the second half and its bench performance of 63 points was enough to beat Salem International alone.
With the win, Lewis improves to 7-4 while Salem International falls to 1-11 on the campaign.
