Park Forest, Ill. – Despite two victories from Lewis University freshman
Alan Braschinsky (Tallinn, Estonia/Milna Harma), the No. 39 Flyer men's tennis team saw their three-match win streak come to an end as Olivet Nazarene handed them a 5-2 non-conference defeat at the Park Forest Tennis Club on Wednesday (April 6) afternoon.
With the victory, the Tigers improve to 7-6, while the Flyers fall to 9-6 on the campaign.
At No. 1 doubles, Braschinsky and junior
Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) earned an 8-3 win over ONU's Navarro Veys and Oscar Cornella. Braschinsky picked up the Flyers only singles victory defeating ONU's Alfonso Martinez 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
The Flyers return to action on Friday (April 8), as they face Saint Joseph's for a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup. First serve is set for 12:30 PM at the Five Star Tennis Center in Plainfield, Ill.
