Big Rapids, Mich. - The Lewis University women's soccer team was aided by two Ferris State own goals as the visiting Flyers earned the 3-0 regional victory over the host Bulldogs in the season opener at Top Taggart Field on Thursday (Sept. 1) afternoon.
With the win, Lewis improves to 1-0 on the season, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-1 on the campaign.

Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 3) as the Flyers head to University Center, Mich., for a 12 PM ET kickoff with Saginaw Valley State.
