Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 15 Lewis University women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to four matches, as the Flyers earned the 25-13, 25-16, 25-27, 25-13 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over Maryville University at Neil Carey Arena on Saturday (Sept. 24) afternoon.

Aly Schneider (Granger, Ind./Penn) collected a match-high 16 kills, six block assists and hit .667 (16-2-21), while freshman outside hitter
Alexandra Preuss (Elmhurst, Ill./York) added 15 kills and eight digs, while hitting .375 (15-3-32).

Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall) pitched in 11 kills and hit .450 (11-2-20), while adding eight digs. Redshirt sophomore setter
Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) had a double-double of 50 assists and 12 digs, while redshirt senior
Nicole Yuede (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell North) recorded a match-high 20 digs.
With the win, Lewis improves to 9-3 overall and 4-0 in GLVC action, while the visiting Saints fall to 2-11 on the campaign and 1-3 in conference play.
As a team, Lewis hit .375 (65-17-128) and notched 65 kills as a team, compared to Maryville's 37. The Flyers also outdug Maryville, 57-39.
Lewis returns to action on Friday (Sept. 30), as the Flyers take on both Saint Joseph's (5 PM) and Kentucky State (7:30 PM) in Rensselaer, Ind.
