Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 9 Lewis University men's volleyball team, led by a double-double of 23 kills and 10 digs from redshirt freshman outside hitter
Ryan Coenen (Franklin, Wis./Franklin), had four players reach double-digit kills in the 25-19, 19-25, 25-13, 23-25, 15-12 non-conference victory over Harvard at Neil Carey Arena on Friday (Jan. 13) night.
Coenen, who hit .340 (23 kills, 7 errors, 47 attacks), was one of three Flyers who notched double-doubles.
With the win, Lewis improves to 2-1 on the campaign, while the visiting Crimson drop to 0-1.

Mitch Perinar (Channahon, Ill./Minooka) had 12 kills and eight digs, while freshman outside hitter
Kyle Bugee (Los Altos, Calif./Homestead) and senior middle hitter
Jacob Schmiegelt (Lombard, Ill./Willowbrook) each had 10 putaways.
Bugee added 13 digs for his double-double, while sophomore setter
Matt Yoshimoto (Ventura, Calif./Adolfo Camarillo) dished out 55 assists and had 10 digs. Lewis redshirt sophomore libero
Michael Simmons (Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) posted a match-high 17 digs in the win.
As a team, Lewis hit .241 (64-26-158), while the Crimson recorded a hitting percentage of .165 (44-22-133).
Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Jan. 14), as the Flyers meet No. 5 Pepperdine for a 7 PM first serve at Neil Carey Arena.
