Springfield, Mo. - The Lewis University men's basketball team not only upset No. 12 Drury University, 76-75, on Saturday (Jan. 7) at the O'Reilly Event Center, but it was the first win in program history against the Panthers on the road.

Miles Simelton (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) topped the Flyers with 21 points, including three trifectas, while sophomore center
Frank Vukaj (Davison, Mich./Davison) collected 16 points and six rebounds.
Flyer sophomore swingman
Delaney Blaylock (Wyoming, Mich./Godwin Heights) scored 10 points and dished out a team-best six assists and grabbed five rebounds. Lewis junior forward
Cristen Wilson (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) scored six points and hauled in a game-best 12 rebounds.
With the win, Lewis improves to 9-5 overall and 4-0 in GLVC play, while the Panthers fall to 10-3 on the campaign and 3-2 in conference action.
Lewis shot 44.1 (26-for-59) from the field and 36.4% (8-for-22) from three-point range, while the Panthers hit 44.8% (26-for-58) of their attempts and 33.3% (8-for-24) of their long range attempts.
Lewis returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 12), as the Flyers welcome Missouri-St. Louis to Neil Carey Arena for a 7:30 PM tip-off.
