Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University women's soccer team extended its opponents scoreless streak to nearly 240 minutes, as the Flyers and Bellarmine University ended in a 0-0 (2 OT) draw in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match-up at Lewis Stadium on Sunday (Oct. 1).
Lewis and Southern Indiana battled to a scoreless tie on Friday.
Bellarmine outshot the Flyers, 22-16, and held a 10-3 advantage in shots on goal. Lewis freshman forward
Cali Havelka-Vanderplow (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale South) accounted for four of those shots and had one attempt on frame.
With the tie, Lewis is now 4-4-2 overall and 3-3-2 in GLVC play, while the Knights move to 3-2-3 on the campaign and 2-2-3 in conference action.

Jennifer Meyer (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport) made nine saves for the Flyers to earn her second consecutive shutout.
Lewis returns to action on Friday (Oct. 6), as the Flyers head to Indianapolis for a 5 PM (ET) kickoff.
