Aurora, Ill. - Saturday (Oct. 14), No. 1 Lewis University women's volleyball wrapped up its final match of the Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover beating Ferris State in three sets (25-13, 26-24, 25-20).
The Flyers move to 20-1 with the win, while the No. 13 Bulldogs fall to 15-5.Â
Senior middle hitter
Aly Schneider (Granger, Ind./Penn) led the charge for Lewis as she accumulated a match-high 12 kills and lead the match in blocks as well with eight.
In addition, sophomore outside hitter
Alexandra Preuss (Elmhurst, Ill./York) and redshirt senior rightside hitter Maddie Seliga had seven kills each. Seliga also led the Flyers in digs with 16.

Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) led the match in assists with 34.
As a unit Lewis had a hitting percentage of .205 (43 kills, 18 errors, 122 attacks), while Ferris State had .057 (28 kills, 21 errors, 122 attacks).
The Flyers will head to Bellarmine next on October 21 for the conference match-up.Â
