Rolla, Mo. - The No. 6 Lewis University women's volleyball team made short work of Missouri S&T, as the Flyers claimed the 25-12, 25-12, 25-16 Great Lakes Valley Conference sweep over the host Miners at the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building on Saturday (Oct. 28).
11 different Flyers recorded at least one kill against Missouri S&T, led by a match-high 11 putaways from junior outside hitter
Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central). Hyland hit .429 (11 kills, 3 errors, 19 attacks) and added seven digs.
With the win, Lewis improves to 22-2 overall and 11-1 in GLVC action, while the Miners drop to 8-18 on the campaign and 1-11 in conference play.

Ronni Katarzynski (Winfield, Ill./West Chicago) chipped in a team-best 11 digs. The Flyers outdug Missouri S&T, 55-42.
Lewis hit .330 (44-10-103) as a team, while the Miners connected for a hitting percentage of .058 (24-18-104).
The Flyers return to action on Tuesday (Oct. 31), as they head to Kenosha, Wis., for a 7 PM first serve against UW-Parkside.
