Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 3 Lewis University women's volleyball team completed an undefeated home campaign and emerged victorious on 'Senior Day' with the 25-23, 25-18, 20-25, 25-16 Great Lakes Valley Conference win over the University of Indianapolis at Neil Carey Arena on Saturday (Nov. 11).
Four Flyers had at least nine kills, paced by a team-best 12 putaways from senior middle hitter
Aly Schneider (Granger, Ind./Penn). Schneider recorded a hitting percentage of .344 (12 kills, 1 error, 32 attacks).
Lewis redshirt senior outside hitter
Bailey Sparkman (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell) added a double-double of 11 kills and 16 digs, followed by nine kills apiece from redshirt senior right side hitter
Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall) and sophomore middle hitter
Caroline Stefanon (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg).
With the win, Lewis ends the regular season with a mark of 28-2 overall and 17-1 in GLVC action, while winning all 11 of its home matches. UIndy falls to 13-18 on the campaign and 8-10 in conference play.

Ronni Katarzynski (Winfield, Ill./West Chicago) collected a team-best 24 digs in three sets.
Lewis hit .198 (56-21-177) in the win, while the Greyhounds registered a hitting percentage of .136 (46-22-176).
These teams will meet again on Friday (Nov. 17) in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Volleyball Championship at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria, Ill. First serve is slated for 8:30 PM.
