Box Score Rosemont, Ill. - The Lewis University men's basketball team took on Division I Northwestern on Tuesday (Dec. 19) at Allstate Arena, falling 85-48 in its final game before Christmas.

Cristen Wilson (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) led Lewis with 12 points and six rebounds, while Nick Norton (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) scored nine points.

Northwestern (9-4) shot 27-for-59 from the floor (45.8%) and made 11 three-pointers in the contest. Lewis (4-8) went 15-for-48 (31.3%) from the field.

The Wildcats held a 39-29 rebound advantage in the contest.

Lewis took a 7-4 lead early in the game on a basket by Wilson at the 15:23 mark in the first half before Northwestern took control. The Wildcats led 49-22 at the half.

After playing nine of their first 12 games of the season away from home, the Flyers will return home to take on Robert Morris-Peoria Dec. 28 at 7 PM. Lewis is 3-0 this season at home.
