Plainfield, Ill. - Monday (Feb. 13) Lewis University men's tennis faced off against Hillsdale College in a dual match, coming away with the victory 6-3.
For the match Lewis won two of the three doubles, and took four of the six singles matches.
In the No. 1 doubles
Alan Braschinsky (Tallinn, Estonia/Milna Harma) and
Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) beat Justin Hyman and Dugan Delp 8-2.
Andre Norasith (Elgin, Ill./South Elgin)Â and
Brendan Peterson (Elmhurst, Ill./York) won against Charlie Adams and John Ciraci in No. 2 doubles 8-5.
Among the four singles wins were Brashinsky over Adams in No. 1 singles 6-4, and 6-3. Srdanovic beat Hyman 6-2, 6-0 in No. 2 singles. In No. 4 singles Peterson defeated Delp 6-1, 6-4. And in No. 5 sinlesÂ
Chandler Stimpert (Graceland, Ill./Morton)Â defeated Ciraci 6-1, 6-0.
Lewis will have their next match February 17 in Erie, Pennsylvania against Mercyhurst University.
