Rensselaer, Ind. - Saint Joseph's College sophomore guard CJ Hardaway (11 points) converted a jumper with three seconds left to break a 68-all tie and give the host Pumas the 70-68 Great Lakes Valley Conference win over the Lewis University men's basketball team at Scharf Fieldhouse on Saturday (Feb. 18).

Cristen Wilson (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) registered a game-high 21 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Flyers. That is the most caroms by a Flyer player since Stephan Bolt grabbed 22 against Northwood (Dec. 29, 2007).

Miles Simelton (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) pitched in 15 points, while sophomore swingman
Delaney Blaylock (Wyoming, Mich./Godwin Heights) narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.
With the win, Saint Joseph's improves to 11-16 overall and 5-12 in GLVC action, while the Flyers fall to 16-11 on the campaign and 11-6 in conference play.
Lewis shot 35.6% (26-for-73) from the field and 23.8% (5-for-21) from three-point range, while SJC knocked down 39.7% (25-for-63) of its shots and 28.6% (6-for-21) of its long range attempts.
The Pumas, however, made 53.3% (16-for-30) of their shots in the second half, while the Flyers converted only 34.5% (10-for-29).
Lewis rounds out the regular season on Thursday (Feb. 23), as the Flyers head to Kenosha, Wis., for a 7:30 PM showdown with UW-Parkside.
