Findlay, Ohio - Lewis University men's tennis closed out their weekend road trip Sunday (Feb. 19) defeating Findlay University 6-3.
Flyers won all three doubles matches and three of six singles matches.
Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) and
Alan Braschinsky (Tallinn, Estonia/Milna Harma) won in doubles No. 1 9-8 against Oriol Ferrer and Carlos Blanco.
Brendan Peterson (Elmhurst, Ill./York) and
Andre Norasith (Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) beat Ivaylo Slavov and Nicholas Kopylec in doubles No. 2 8-6. In doubles No. 3
Chandler Stimpert (Graceland, Ill./Morton) and
Anton Levitin (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Buffalo Grove) beat Trevor Majdalani and Brad Strawser 8-4.
In singles the Flyers' three wins came from Srdanovic defeating Ferrer 6-1, 6-4 in singles No. 1. Norasith took singles No. 4 after beating Majdalani 6-3, 6-0. The third singles win for the Flyers came in singles No. 5. as Stimpert beat Slavov 6-1, 6-1.
Lewis' next meet will be against Quincy February 24 at 10AM at Quincy University.
