Becky Pearl won her 300th career game as a head coach as the Flyers picked up the 6-4 regional victory over Walsh in opening day action of the Lewis Dome Invitational at The Dome At The Ballpark on Friday (Feb. 24).
Pearl has won 49 games as the Flyers' skipper and earned 251 victories as Judson's skipper from 2005-14.
With the win, Lewis improves to 2-0 on the campaign, while Walsh drops to 0-2 on the campaign.

Carolyn Nojiri (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) went 2-for-3, including an RBI triple, and scored a run to pace the Flyer offense. The Flyers also received a pair of hits and two runs from freshman right fielder
Emily Guske (Loves Park, Ill./Harlem).
Flyer sophomore hurler
Paige Fossey (Chesterton, Ind./Chesterton) picked up the complete-game victory for Lewis. Fossey (1-0) scattered four runs and nine hits, while fanning two batters.
Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Feb. 25), as the Flyers take on Findlay at 9 AM.
